Agree with all the comments, please get rid of ‘whose turn it is’ before I delete the game

Why do you even have this forum if you’re not going to listen to the peeps who play, namely, us? Just curious. When this many complain, I would have to see to it right away. Our complaints are valid.

Goodness gracious. These new changes are very annoying to those of us who’ve been playing for years.

Amen! If I’m playing, I know whose turn it is. At least make it an option that can be turned off.

What's going on with your latest update?
Your specialised subject, the bleeding obvious! 😬
We are tearing our hair out.
Stop messing with what was a great game.

The YOUR TURN banner makes this game unplayable. I like playing against Chumbots. I go, Chumbot goes, that’s two banners already. Multiply that for four or five whole games a day - or more. After two turns my brain is telling me I’m getting stressed and it’s best just to close the game.
I have even spotted the word the Chumbot has played and begun to move my next letter onto the board - at which point I am presented with YOUR TURN ... But usually Chumbot plays a word that is completely covered by the YOUR TURN banner, and I have to wait for this useless piece of information to disappear.
The wonderful thing about intuitive user interfaces is that you don’t have to think about what to do next - it’s obvious. So you most certainly don’t have to be told, numerous - if not infinite - times the same info. ( And if you’re unsure how turn-taking games are played, there are the gameplay instructions.)
The surprising thing with this update is that anyone ever thought the YOUR TURN banner was a helpful feature, and as someone mentioned in another comment, begs the question as to whether designers actually play the game or whether this feature was ever tested on players who love this game. To my mind, the YOUR TURN (sick of that phrase yet?) banner destroys the smooth, simple, yet clever personality of this game and turns it into a jarring, unwelcome hassle.
So, Word Chums team - it’s over to you. Also known as YOUR TURN :)

Agree the your turn banner is very annoying and I find I don’t want to play nearly as much. Please fix. I can always find other things to do.

I am about to hit the button to play a word, this banner flashes, I am transferred to a different game, have to go back and reconstruct the word I was trying to play. DO YOU EVEN EVER PLAY THIS GAME???

Love the Game but new format 're whose go it is,is not necessary, we know whose playing and it's not helpful to make a quick response. Hope you will consider this and continue to provide excellent entertainment.

Don't you guys have anything else to do other than continuing to change things on us?!!

  • londiann commented  ·   ·  Flag as inappropriate

we know it's the other person's turn after we play. Hate that stupid reminder. You're ruining the game for us. STOP IT!
