when people are removed after 10 days it should count as a win . I have had people with no chance of winning just stop playing . Not fair .
I am honestly shocked about the ridiculous amount of resigners lately! I really wish that the resign option would be removed, or that the players would be penalized for resigning all the time. I am constantly matched with people with a 25% and below games completed percentage. The least you could do wiuld be to match these people with others with the same low percentage. It’s ridiculous!
Because I play a lot of games, when someone stops playing I am limited on being able to open up a new game. So I think the limit for someone not playing should be seven days. And that should count as a loss against them.
It should count as a win
Especially if you are winning with a large margin .....
I totally agree. Has anybody at all contacted the Word Chums management about this yet?
I agree, if you choose to not finish what you started, then you should lose! It’s rude!
Failure to forfeit when opponent stops playing is a great tip!!! Also an absolutely pathetic lack of administration by Weird Chums.
I think ten days is too long. If a player is that busy they shouldn't be playing a game in the first place.
The computer does not match players according to ability. Time after time I get matched with players who either have just started playing, have a low percentage win record, or complete less than 50% of their games. Frankly, I do not want to play anyone with less than a 99% completion rate. Also I suggest you put a place to check in the chat section if you are going to be away for over 10 days but will return. And players who resign rather than pass should be penalized. I was recently chewed out by a player who was use to winning but was losing to me. He as terribly rude. Accused me of cheating. Insisted I was hooked up to a computer with apps, must be using something called word finder. Fact is I am not tech savvy, I just work hard and am good at this game. What satisfaction would you get hooked up to apps. I love this game and find it challenging, but dislike coming across poor losers such as him.
I’ve got so many active games going because people just stop playing when it looks like there is a chance they might lose, some of the games have only really just started geez. All I want to do is play a decent game, is that too much to ask? And I’m not even that good!!
Regularly play with friends who work long shifts and care for frail elderly relatives. Life’s unpredictable, sometimes people need to sleep or go to hospital. A couple of days here and there don’t matter as long as everyone’s OK.
That’s why I also have a few games with people in other time zones, so I can usually have a couple of moves in a couple of games at any time of day.

I totally agree with this. had an opponent who was 70 pts behind. didn't play for 7 days. when I contacted them they removed the game .
I absolutely agree!!
Agree. It messes with your win/loss average.
I thought their failure to respond counted as forfeit. It doesn't? 😕😞
