You need a way to report fraudsters. I played with someone recently who needed reporting in order to protect more vulnerable people. .
There should be a way to have a player removed permanently because he is 'grooming' you to get money out of you. I played 8 games with someone over a couple of weeks which initially seemed like harmless chit chat and banter. He was persistent on me giving him my Facebook name or phone no. which I refused to do stressing I was happily married and just liked to keep things simple, that I loved the game and just enjoyed making comments throughout the game. He seemed fine with this but did still keep saying he felt we were now friendly enough to feel comfortable enough to do exchange details. Over the couple of weeks he asked me to loan him money saying he was away on a business trip and had lost his wallet. He wanted me to pick up a card from the supermarket for £300 and scratch off the voucher number so he could use the credit on phone calls to his family (I can't remember the name of the type of card it was as it was American). I refused and used the excuse that my husband wouldn't like it. He told me not to tell my husband and to keep it between us. I explained I had no secrets with my husband so couldn't do it. The following week he had another problem which led him to ask for a few thousand pounds. I said no to this, had a go at him and said it was immoral to prey on vulnerable people. I love playing Word Chums and have played for around 3 years I think. I feel I play it the way it was designed for and think it's sad that there are people using it as a way to extract money from vulnerable people. I have blocked him but know he is still playing with other people. He should be banned from playing the game permanently and if you needed evidence of the conversations, hopefully there is a way to look back on the previous games I played with him.

I too have had problems with these scammers. They all claim their wife died in car accident and have one child. Asking for my email and phone number. When I refuse, they get nasty.
how do I report someone for foul language
I've had two people so far who say their wife has died has a child that needs a new mother. Then after about two messages they think we are compatible. I just block them.
Yes, I have had one very bad experience, with one guy threatening to kill me when I wouldn’t converse with him, if I was a vulnerable person I would have freaked out, he was scary
Most of these scammers are really obvious because they are playing a word game and cant spell.
