Try a "soft" reset of your device. Hold down the top button and front button until it powers off. Turn it on again and see if anything changes. This reset does not remove or change any data on your device. Its like turning your PC off and on to reset.
If that does not work.... delete your Word Chums app and reinstall it from the app store. You can log back in with your email or Facebook account you used to set up your Chum account. This will make sure the Word Chums data is not corrupted.
If doing a soft reset on your device and deleting and
reinstalling Word Chums does not stop the crashing most likely you
are running a 4.x version of iOS. Apple would recommend you update
to their latest version of iOS. You can do this update in
your Apple settings app and it takes a while to run. iOS is
on version 7 but an iPad 1 will only update to
5.1.1 We have tested Word Chums on the iPad
1 with 5.1.1. and the 3GS with 6.1.3 and those configurations
work on our test devices.
