I suggest the person resigning be made to forfeit a preset amount of coins to the "victim" who loses out on better stats or quicker progress trough levels and thus "robbed of coins".

The closer to the end and the bigger the score gap when the rush nation and clues the larger the forfeit penalty.

Further to this within say arbitrarily 10(?) tiles left if the opponent with the inferior score stops playing the auto resign period reduces to 24 hours. The number of clown shoes who play until a move from finishing with no hope of winning then disappear is a joke. Disincentives for poor sportsmanship.

Finally, if a game starts and after a few move the opponent disappears but is under level 5 cut off for auto resign becomes 24 hours. The number of drunk numpties and apparently vacuous kids who sign up, struggle to form any word which isn't LOL then leave your game history cluttered is breath-taking. And VFA.

If you have allowed notifications on the system will notify you at the 4 day mark and the day before resigning. Notifications vary by platform. They are most commonly disabled on iOS where you have to go to your Apple Settings app and then to Notifications.

Part of playing a game is agreeing to its parameters. While life happens people who enjoy playing regularly have a crappy stop start experience. Rather allocate time and play a reasonable amount of game to finish. If life happens tough that's part of the challenge. It's impossible one can't find 5 to 10 mins somewhere in the day to wrap up lose ends if things are getting hinky work or home wise. This is a live real time community game and that should be considered before signing up.

Impossible determine stats are a reflection of opponent quality and apathy as much as player expertise and the levels are no indication at all. Many people don't buy accessories just hints so you can have very experienced and accomplished players with a red ribbon on the same level as someone who spends every cent in upping exp point accumulation. Play what's in front of you I say. I too easy whip em and they'll resign or not rematch, too hard? It's a word game it's meant to be hard surely?

It is balance we work on. For those that don’t want to buy coins the Free Coins tapjoy options such as downloading apps for coins are quite popular.

One issue with coins for winning or best words is the potential to motivate some players to cheat in order to more rapidly farm coins.

Most of the core features of the game are free to play. It allows free multiplayer games and you earn coins while playing or can do some of the free coins options such as Tapjoy. The paid version also removes ads, provides bonus coins and does not require tickets for Chumbot games. For people who want to utilize all of the features and customizations in can take extra coins. Creating and running quality games such as Word Chums takes hundreds of thousands of dollars so at some point we hope it is interesting enough for people to…

Agreed the only chum its that give decent competition are the genius ones possibly the level before. Chumbot games ex genius should simply be fire harvesting exp points and practicing seeing as in my experience only about 10 percent of active opponents can even complete one game in a 24 hour cycle including weekends so one has to keep busy when so many idle boards stand around
