“rust” is a valid word on the word list. This usually occurs when other words are being formed at the same time or tiles are being played along more than one row or column. Every place there are two or more tiles touching must form a valid word. You could send a screen shot if you still have the turn.
To do a screen shot tap the home button on the front of device and the lock button at the top at the same time. This will put a screen shot in your pictures. Go to your pictures app and you can email that picture to support@peoplefun.com.

Jew is a proper noun. Words that are usually capitalized..names of places, people, etc. are not valid words. So things like country names, month names, etc. are not valid. Thanks!

Jew is a proper noun. Names of places, things, etc. that are usually capitalized are not valid.

We try to closely match the Merriam-Webster’s Scrabble dictionary (link to it is below). If they determined it had valid usage we would likely add it.

This is the link for Scrabble’s official list (They have access to an official Merriam-Websters Scrabble dictionary for definitions):
    http://www.hasbro.com/scrabble/en_US/search.cfm

We started with a standard word list for validation called ENABLE2k. People and Chumbots use the exact same list..except some of the easier Chumbots can’t use parts of the list. It’s used by quite a few games and you can search google on it if interested. However it only has words and not definitions. We look definitions up via a service called Wordnik.com which does not have nearly as many definitions. In an upcoming update we are going to research many of the most unusual words and…
