That’s the risk you take for using the hint. Plus the hint gives you the position on the board, unless you go somewhere totally different, but unlikely.
I think this is a rip off idea, the hint still gives you the place to go on the board. That’s the biggest hint of all. The part of the hint that pisses me off though is that it doesn’t always give me the best word. Say that the best word is 100 points and all I can come up with is the highest of a 30 point word. I could struggle for 15 minutes and I finally try to use a hint and it still won’t give me the best word, it gives me a 60 point word, or 80 point word. Should be the best word please.
I like it better this way, I no longer have to look at my percentage number slowly decreasing overtime, I feel more positive. 😋
Wow, the things you people complain about. They should start charging for this game so you all will shut up about the small stuff.
You would be surprised at the large "never before heard of" words I can come up with. Not because I'm smart or because I cheat. But because I have patience and just move letters around until something lights up.
Right, because when you ask nicely people will just not do it. People who cheat aren't going to stop cheating just because you put a note up that says "please don't cheat". I don't understand why anyone would cheat, what is really the point? Cheating on a test I totally get, cheating to win a game against a stranger? You're kidding me. And the attitude that you have is just as bad as someone cheating. You believe because someone knows large words or because someone is winning against you that they are cheating, horrible assumption to make. Just play the game, maybe they are cheating, maybe they aren't, at least you are working your way towards your next level up and you are earning coins. Resigning makes you look like a loser.
Do you mean the you are trying to resign games and it won’t let you resign them? If so, you must have a really high percentage of resigned games. Players that are chronically resigning games will be denied resignations until their percentage improves.
I would suggest that you complete the games to improve your percentage.
I would suggest creating a new username and don't resign all the time then turn off your caps lock.
Shut up and stop complaining about the small stuff.
Just start lots of games. I normally have at least 15-20 games going on at all times. I check my games every half hour or so and someone, usually multiple people have worded me back by then.
The word list has over 175,000 words and should have all common words. Sometimes this occurs when other words are being formed at the same time or tiles are being played along more than one row or column. Every place there are two or more tiles touching must form a valid word. There could also be a stray tile on the board somewhere which will not let it validate any words. You can send a screen shot if you still have the turn.
Words that are usually capitalized..names of places, people, etc. are not valid words. So things like the days of the week, month names, countries etc. are not on the list. Thanks!
We do add words to the word list when people report missing words that are in one of the major scrabble dictionaries.

Breawood you can turn that feature off.
Yes to this. I have a lot of stuff in there. It's not even in alphabetical order. What order is it in? Hard to find stuff sometimes. Not a horrible nuisance, but it would be nice to organize or at least have it in alpha order.
A coin for each point is outrageous. The game would never make money. Be more fair. Instead of 1 coin per tile, how about 3-5 coins per tile?
Yes, I have the same problem with ads while watching on my phone, no coins earned because I can't exit the ad, there is never an 'x' button. I have to watch them on my iPad.
Surveys and offers are quite infuriating. As I can spend half an hour easy doing just 1 and not even earn the coins and the next day my email box is spammed with nonsense for these sites and it was literally for nothing. And 9.99$ for 13,000 is not a deal when a hat is 500 coins. Come on.
Just from my own experience, I would say that most players don't resign from games to be jerks. They either know they are going to lose or don't understand the whole "pass" or "resign" thing. Even though occasionally I see those players that literally just resign from every game like they are out to ruin everyone's day for no reason. People need to understand resigning. If the resign rate is a bit much, then what are some other ideas? Some way we can discourage people from resigning. I still like the decline button idea for random opponents. If I see someone who loses a lot, has played like 100 games for example but has scores for only like 20 games, and I get stuck in a random games with them. Why would I want to play a game I know they're gonna quit half way through?
Maybe if they added this feature they would probably give everyone a clean slate. Everyone starts with 0% resign rate I'm sure (talking to previous comment). Also yeah, bots should not count against you.
BuddyBoy, you shouldn't resign, you should "pass".
Both opponents would have the choice to "decline", which isn't the same as a resign. This gives you an opportunity to look at your opponents profile, view what level they are at, see their resign rate/percentage and decide if you want to continue playing. After the first move if you decide to quit than it is a resign and it would count against you not your opponent.sierraistheshit shared this idea ·
Who cares. You can always just ask if you want to know that badly.
