It is balance we work on. For those that don’t want to buy coins the Free Coins tapjoy options such as downloading apps for coins are quite popular.

Most of the core features of the game are free to play. It allows free multiplayer games and you earn coins while playing or can do some of the free coins options such as Tapjoy. The paid version also removes ads, provides bonus coins and does not require tickets for Chumbot games. For people who want to utilize all of the features and customizations in can take extra coins. Creating and running quality games such as Word Chums takes hundreds of thousands of dollars so at some point we hope it is interesting enough for people to spend money on or do free coins offers. Thanks for playing!

If you would like to upgrade to the paid version you can tap settings…

great idea. rather like a loyalty card program at the store. the more you visit an establishment, the better it is for both parties.

If we were the only word game around we’d be all for deleting a word such as snugly. However, word game aficionados get mad when we don’t allow tournament Scrabble words which Scrabble and Words with Friends and others allow. The Merriam-Websters Scrabble dictionary has the following:

    SNUGLY [10 pts]
    in a snug manner

We try to closely match the Merriam-Webster’s Scrabble dictionary (link to it is below).

The short answer is if you see a valid word played that is not found in the Websters Official Scrabble dictionary we will remove the word and we will give you 3,000 coins for finding it. You just need to verify it is not in the Scrabble list before sending it in and send us a screen shot of the word being validated in the game.

This is the link for Scrabble’s official list (They have access to an official Merriam-Websters Scrabble…

“rust” is a valid word on the word list. This usually occurs when other words are being formed at the same time or tiles are being played along more than one row or column. Every place there are two or more tiles touching must form a valid word. You could send a screen shot if you still have the turn.
To do a screen shot tap the home button on the front of device and the lock button at the top at the same time. This will put a screen shot in your pictures. Go to your pictures app and you can email that picture to support@peoplefun.com.

Jew is a proper noun. Words that are usually capitalized..names of places, people, etc. are not valid words. So things like country names, month names, etc. are not valid. Thanks!

Then why is Hong allowed, and GI ? These are both proper nouns that have been used
